Jane’s workshop was a breath of fresh air!  We were not prepared for her Mary Poppins-esque bag of science magic, and were pleasantly surprised and energized.  Though I am not a science teacher, I found many things I can use in my art classroom.
As a result of this workshop, next week I will provide opportunities for students to struggle and figure out a challenge, I will provide misconceptions and let them prove otherwise.

The break out sessions were really interesting. I also enjoy Jane's manner of teaching. She is very encouraging and is willing to answer questions about how we can break down the activities for our students.
